The graves are no longer insitu, one or 2 are free standing, the rest removed, there are 2 areas where they have survived, the first area are all relating the the Jobson family

This is from quite an old post, but I just wondered if there is anyone in or around Horncastle who could help me with photos of any remaining Jobson memorials. We were in Horncastle 2 years ago and had a look for Jobson memorials at Holy Trinity and must have missed the 'Jobson area'. My wife is descended from the Horncastle Jobson's.

many thanks

In terms of the gravestones /memorials, I am interested in any relating to the Jobson family.

As far as the 'money' you mentioned, George Jobson created a charity in his will for the benefit of the people of Horncastle together with annual bequests for the singing of carols over his fathers & brothers graves, ringing of the church bells and prizes for the Grammar School. If you are interested, I'll go through his multi page will & pick out the relevant bits.

I am just rather annoyed that we didn't find the graves at Holy Trinity, hence the request for help with photos.
