Killoh, Gamrie
« on: Wednesday 18 January 06 10:09 GMT (UK) »

Looking for any information on the family of William Killoh or Killah of Gamrie.

William was born around 1839 and married Elizabeth Ingram in 1865.

I only know of one son James b 22 June 1868 at Fernibrae, Gamrie, he was my GGGrandfather. On his death certificate his job was down as a crofter and post runner.

He married Jane Young in Macduff and they had 4 daughters and a son.

If anyone has any connection or can help, please get in touch.

Many thanks,

Macduff

My wife Jean has in her tree James Killah b 1798 marr Elizabeth Massey who had a daughter Margaret b 1842 in Gamrie who is probably a sibling of your William b 1839?

We have been told that the parents of James Killah 1798 are William Killah and Isabel Rankin.
