1851 look-up for Midlothian, Edinburgh

I am trying to trace Fanny Dunn(she states in census info as born in Edinburgh, she married at St Cuthberts there in 1845.  From census info, guestimate the birth year as 1826, Her father is Barclay Dun- her mother Helen Duthie - these parents married in St Nicholas, Aberdeen - so far unable to locate Fanny's birth details - but would also dearly love to find her in the 1841 census

Helen Duthie married Barclay Dun 3-5-1795 in Aberdeen
I can pick up a son Findlay Dun born 24-7-1795 in Aberdeen, he married Jean Tully (no certificate) +- 1815, I can pick up one son Barclay Dun born 2-10-1828 in Edinburgh
I cant find a birth For Fanny Dun, but she shows up in the 1841 census age 15 in Lauder in Berwick       
748/8/1 on her own.
Barclay Dun appears in the 1841 census on his own aged 70 St Cuthberts 685/2 107/9

Fanny marries William Bathgate in 16/5/1845 in St Cuthberts Edin
There is no record of Fanny Bathgate in the 1851 census anywhere, she may have used another family name ?
There are Bathgates (William) in the 1851 census living in St Cuthberts.

William and Fanny Bathgate are on the 1851 Census in Largs, Ayrshire - Fanny is transcribed on FreeCen as Frances (she may well be recorded on original as Frances too , if you check Scotland's People).

The Bathgate's do appear in Scotland's people 1851 in Ayr, but the surname is transcribed as Bathgale

William and son William appear in 1861 in Kilmarnock (no Frances)

I have  A Fanny Dun born 8-1-1826 in Westruther (Berwick) to Andrew Dun and Margaret Currie
Fanny Dun in the 1841 (15)census living in Lauder (Berwick) would seem to be the same person

The family move to London, England for the 1861 and 1871 census which you may have already. Appear still to be together in 1901 census in England. William appears to change his birthplace from Ireland to Scotland as the census records progress.
