Please Please will you look for Albert E Fletcher wife Clar* and daughter Violet who was born in 1909? I have been waiting very patiently for the 1911!
I need Alberts birth date!
Cheers

It's a small world, I know the Jewell's, they have been in Guelph a long time.  My grandfather was friends with them as well.  I just found the birth of Percy Jewell who is the son of William Jewell and Ellen Lawson.

Here's the registration number for the marriage of James and Emeline, the original is not on-line so you will have to get a copy from the Archives.

Name: Emaline Johnston
Spouse Name: James Aylstook
Marriage Date: 14 Apr 1884
Marriage Place: Berlin, Kitchener
Registration Number: 011665

Thank you so much, Karen!
Small world indeed, Ellen Lawson/Jewell and Minnie Lawson/Aylestock would have been cousins, my husband and kids and any Jewell decendants are connected through the brothers William and Henry Lawson :)

I've had a few minutes to take this all in and it's quite possible that Emaline is Margaret Johnston's daughter from a first marriage as Margaret's father's name is Moore

thought this a fitting quote

Are your Lawson's or Aylstock's connected with the family Jewell's?

I am so sorry, as I hate to go off topic...but I have to note that i just
LOVE the phrasing in the above sentence....!

;D I thought about that when I was typing it and couldn't think how to get around the obvious.
