i hope you dont mind but i am still looking for a grt uncle of mine who left uk, and arrived quebec in 1914, he joined exp forces in 1914 and of course left there, he did visit uk in 1928 ish and as far as we know returned to canada but where, is a mystery. so if your offer is still open re ancestry: can either of you look to see if hes about, all i have is that he was born 1894/5 in bristol england, son of william and emma jefferis . the surname has been spelt many ways so watch for this other than that i have no other info, im curious as to wether he married and when he died so i would  really appreciate any help that you can give

I would really appreciate if you have time to check the 1911 census for my grandmothers brother Albert Philip Jones who was sent to Canada in 1905 as  a Home Child. He was born in 1897 in Bristol England, and I believe stayed on a farm in New Brunswick with the Allan family. I have tried the automatedgeneology index but could not trace him.

Any help would be great

Just to let you know I've checked the link to the 1911 census and not only did the page show Albert Jones which was my original request, but also it listed the Curtis family including daughter Una who later became his wife.
