This is from the cwgc site which gives Martin's mother name as Sarah Ann McElin,. which does suggest that it's has been mis transcibed and is a strong match
In Memory of
Private MARTIN McELIN
14134, 9th Bn., Royal Fusiliers
who died age 26
on 07 July 1916
Son of Martin Joseph and Sarah Ann McElin.

Many thanks Krisesjoint for the information it was appreiciated

Yes Mr Bee That sure does look right now that u say mother is Sarah Ann. The first Winifred must have died. .......I couldnt find Thomas or Michael in 1891.
All the best with it. Glad I could help
Kris :)
