Woodlane Street, Bootle

According to his death certificate, my gg Grandfather Alexander CRIGHTON died at Woodlane Street, Bootle in 1900.  I've searched around the internet but have not been able to find any reference to this street.  Any ideas or does anyone know of it?

It would be even better if someone could find a census reference for Woodlane Street.  I'm thinking it could have been a hospital as he died of Brochitis and Chronic Paraplegia.

Any help would be gratefully received.

Theres a Wood Lane in Liverpool (Huyton) but not Bootle ...... if I remember right!
