« on: Sunday 29 January 06 05:01 GMT (UK) »
Joseph PARKER likely son of Richard PARKER and grandson of
Jesse PARKER and Elizabeth is thought to have emigrated to
Australia somtime in the 1920's.

Some Welsh areas of interest include Ruabon, Wrexham, and Overton.
Richard & Jesse were both Plasterers ???

Some likely name connections in Wales - Jane PARKER & Edward TILSTON,
Hannah PARKER & Jesse STEEN.  Hannah may have been born with the name Margret??   Possible birth name of Elizabeth PARKER was ALLERTON.

Hi Zelly,
Look here and you will  see information on a possible Joseph Parker whose Next of Kin is Richard.
This is the National Archives site which keeps amongst others, records of armed service

http://naa12.naa.gov.au/scripts/Items_listing.asp?S=1&F=1&O=0&T=I&C=118

He is about 2nd or 3rd on the list.
Shows that at the time of enlistment he was living in Victoria.  Is his birth date OK?
