Very happy to help you, Mack  8)
Strange enough, I can't find any other reference to this family. No births for the children, no previous census returns or marriage for the father  ???

Frank E, who was in the Canadian army for WWI, lists a brother 'Leonard N. Eden Ventris' on his papers, also:

to add to the mystery, arthur doesnt appear in the medal rolls for ww1,yet he was killed in action in feb 1918,also frank who was killed first, has no personal details on the cwgc, but arthur HAS,franks name appeared in the manchester evening news and his home address is the same as his brother arthurs,8 chipping st,longsight, manchester,so he hadnt emigrated, what is curious is the mystery brother that jorose turned up,where did he come from, and why didnt frank put his father or other brothers as next of kin, mack
