Where is Merevale please?
« on: Monday 30 January 06 21:26 GMT (UK) »
'My' Thomas Smith married Sarah Fairfield in 1785 in Polesworth, near Tamworth.

I've been looking on the IGI for a possible baptism for Sarah and found a Sarah Fearfield bap. 1761 in Merevale.

Does anyone know whereabouts in Warwickshire this place is please?

Thank you very much Anne, looks like this Sarah might be worth a bit more investigation as she's from the right area.
