« on: Tuesday 31 January 06 20:20 GMT (UK) »
I am trying to see what it says on the medal card I have just downloaded.

Can anyone understand the comments in the remarks column.

Many thanks

When it comes to WWI stuff, your best course of action is to post this on the Great War Forum http://1914-1918.invisionzone.com/forums/index.php?. To say the people there are knowledgeable is an understatement. I once posted a query about my KIA great uncle. Somebody sent me a photograph of him in uniform. Can't beat service like that and they are every bit as helpful as folk on this board.

P.S. I am not being paid for this testimonial

Mack

Thanks for that info.  What does entitled mean exactly, that he was entitled but never received??

Veron and Nick

I have posted on the war forum, waiting for replies.

Thanks
