Trouble is you don't know anything about him - when you get the marriage certificate if it is right one you will hopefully have father's name and occupation which might make it easier to find him and perhaps his age - finger's crossed it isn't just "of full age". Morris is rather a common name as well which doesn't help and from what you say about the birth certificate he could be known as John (or William I suppose ) ??? ::)

HI,
This is my great Nan’s wedding cert that my mum gave me of John William Morris and Ada Bagnell the groom’s father name is  Henry William Morris
Don’t know much about the Morris family - my grand dad never spoke about his family.

John William Morris Jnr db1913 Clerkenwell - mothers maiden name Bagnell
John William Morris Snr db 1886 married Ada Bagnell
Henry William Morris (Seaman) on marriage cert as father of the groom (John William Snr).

IS THER ANY OTHER WAY OF TRACING HENRY AND JOHN SNR BECAUSE THEY MAY NOT HAVE COME FROM EAST LONDON. ???

Biddy

Can't think of any other way at present. The John in 1891 and 1901 is looking good. Think you need to wait for that marriage certificate- hopefully it won't be too long coming.
