Hi Angie and Jim,

I've seen Jim's info. about baptisms etc. of the children of Thomas and Elizabeth Beddow and his comment that they weren't on my earlier census postings as they have only just come to light.

Well, here they are:-

1851 Census

Kinnerley, Salop

Thomas Beddow - Head - md. - 53 - Farmer's Labourer - b. Salop, Kinnerley

Elizabeth Beddow - w. - md. - 46 - b. Salop, Kinnerley

Joseph Beddow - s. - unm. - 15 - Home Labour - b. Salop, Kinnerley

George Beddow - s. - 12 - Scholar - b. Salop, Kinnerley

Samuel Beddow - s. - 10 - Scholar - b. Salop, Kinnerley

Jane Beddow - d. - 6 - Scholar - b. Salop, Kinnerley

I've rather lost the thread at the moment, so if you need any further census look-ups just ask.

what a lovely ending

Hi Angie and Jim,

I've found the Thomas and Elizabeth Beddow family in 1861 along with another Beddow unit living as an independant family in the same property.

The details are:-

1861 Census

Farm House, Argoed, Salop

Thomas Beddow - Head - md. - 67 - Higlar (sic) and Carrier - b. Salop, Kinnerley

Elizabeth Beddow - w. - md. - 55 - Higlar and Carrier - b. Salop, Osbaston

Jane Beddow - d. - unm. - 16 - b. Salop, Kinnerley
_________________________________________________

William Beddow - Head - md. - 27 - Higglar (sic) - b. Salop, Kinnerley

Elizabeth Beddow - w. - md. - 28 - b. Salop, Westbury

Thomas Beddow - s. - 4 - Scholar - b. Salop, Iron Bridge, Meadley (?)

William Beddow - s. - 3 - b. Salop, Iron Bridge, Meadly (?)

Joseph Beddow - s. - 1 - b. Salop, Iron Bridge, Meadly (?)

Hope everything is now falling into place.

Regards,

Richard

Hi Angie and Jim,

Sure thing, Angie.

It might take until tomorrow, but I'll get it all down for you.
