The road where the murder was committed appears in both contemporary press reports and modern articles as being either Ladysmith Avenue or Ladysmith Road (but more often as 'Road'). It was renamed Wrentham Avenue, and the decision to rename was made by Willesden District Council on 13th April 1904, in response to the wishes of the residents of the road, according to the Evening Express (14.4.1904). The house number was reported to be both no. 23 and 43. Possibly Brent Council could come up with the original name of the road.

In the link below is a sketch of the carman, named Ryden, and also a sketch of the front of the house: - https://newspapers.library.wales/view/3376760/3376761/5
