Thomas Large, Coton in the Elms/Stapenhill
« on: Saturday 04 February 06 14:48 GMT (UK) »
I seem to have found someone in the 1891 census twice in 2 different places and I am wondering if that is possible.

Thomas Large Born 1821 Coton the Elms on the 1891 census is at home with his wife, age 70 and described as an Ag Lab. However he also seems to appear in the same census as a visitor to Waterside Farm, Stapenhill, which is his married daughters home, again as an Ag Lab.  ???

Is it possible that he was at home in Coton when one enumerator called and then trotted off to see his daughter in  Stapenhill, Burton and then was re-entered on the census for Burton. Seems strange he is down as Visitor at Burton as opposed to Father in Law.

Any help would be appreciated.
