Primary area of interest is Dorset with
Wyke Regis to Weymouth being the key location.
Zelley,  Lovell, Godbold, Woods, Phillips, Lewis, Emery,
Magee, Baker, White. Flisher, Kyne, Tilston, Valence/Vallens,
Mabb/Mabbe, Bellamy, Selley, Martha Smith, Arno (of Dartmouth, Devon}.
Dorset, London, Warwick, East Anglia, Kent,  Devon
North Wales          

The ancestors lived here and there, in many scattered
places, with various occupations

Do you have any Vallances from Southwark,London?
Arbroath, St Vigeans, Auchmithie...names Beattie,Eaton,Spink,Smith,Keir, Shepherd, Cargill
Dunnichen/Farnell names...Weir,Addison, Anderson,Rodger
Aberdeenshire...names Stephen,Kemp,Wallace,Davidson,Sellar,McLeman,Cordiner,Crawford,Traill,Watt
Have an extensive history for McLeman.

London.....Vallance,Edwards, Dixon.

Mine were primarily centered in Wyke Regis, Dorset pre-1800.
Some were mariners, some connected to ship building.
It would be great to connect the Devon, Dorset, Somerset & Wiltshire families.

One of the names I have is a John Frederick Vallance, a waterside worker.  He is the father of my connection to the Vallance family.

A Mary  Vallance of Newtown, Waterford city Ireland, died unmarried on 11th May 1854 aged 80, and is buried in the Abbey Church graveyard, near Waterford city.
