I suppose you've noticed the Losco BRADLEY in Cromwell in 1871 ... I had to mention it in case you hadn't!  ;)

I have Losco HAZARD in my tree and would be more than willing to exchange information with other researchers.

I have a quite a lot of information gleaned from the Cromwell registers and would welcome the opportunity to collaborate with someone.

Btw I couldn't find him 1871 either but I'm pretty certain I know where the name Losco comes from.

Hi Sue

I am fairly sure we have already been in contact, through Genes Reunited.  That is if you are the same person who very kindly gave me a lot of information on the Losco/Hazard names.

I've not done any research for a long time into this branch of my family but certainly hope to return to it one day soon.

Many thanks
Fiona

I have an ancestor, James Losco Hazard born in Nantwich in 1882. I think Losco, married to Mary was his Grandfather. I would love to get more information on the family, if anyone is willing to share, as they have proved fairly elusive. I am especially interested in the rumour of a Spanish connection.
Hazel.

I know that this is a very old post but I've just started looking for my relatives and believe that Losco Harry Hazard was my mum's father but not the father of her siblings. His dad was Walter Hazard born c1860 in Lincolnshire, died in Hull 1911  Married Ann Sadler in 1883.  He had two siblings Annie and Jessie.

Walter's father was Henry Hazard born c1833 in St Martins Lincs, died 1871, married Annie Whitbread

Henry's father was Losco Hazard born c1808 in Besthorp, Lincs, died 1874 in Lincoln.  Married Mary Drabble in 1830.  They had George, James, William, Elizabeth and Henry

Losco the elder's father was also Henry, born c1774 in Normanton, married Bridget/Catherine children were Losco, James, Eliza and Sarah

Henry the elder's father was Alexander Hazard born c1750 married Alice Clark, I only found a record for one, child Henry

Thanks, very interesting Phandley.
I have done more research over the last few years but have only got as far as Alexander too. I will update here if I find more now that I know someone else is searching too.  :)
My line is:
Losco Hazard (my GGG Grandad) and Mary Drabble (my GGG Grandma)
George (my GG Grandad)
James Losco (my G Grandad)
Harold Henry (my Grandad)
