My real search lies with William Walker born Glasgow 1844 I have him with William Roddick/ Jane/Jean Craig in 1851 Dumfries. The Mary McAthur entering Castle Garden in 1873 is his daughterWilliam waqlker 1844 his wife Mary Huges died ten days after her birth that why her grandparents take her to the US with them. I have her living in New Jersey 1920-1930 with second husband Charles Edwin Trueman.

The death you found, Duncan and Margaret do have a son William who was 10 in 1873 when they entered US so if he was 18 in 1920 the years don't add up but the names do? :-\

This death is very interesting- William Walker was born 1844 father William Walker mother Margaret Roddick so she couldn't have had William McArthur that died. In actual fact you don't give a christian name for William McArther's father.

I'm starting to get confused  ;D

This William Walker born c1844 lists his occupation as a Finisher.  There was no Christian name for the father, just a last name.

My family has lived on the corner of Edinburgh Road in Guelph for many years (still do).
