where can i find a passenger list for Australia to England
« on: Saturday 25 February 06 18:02 GMT (UK) »
I had someone who went to Australia in 1906 and died there in 1907....i found a relative went there in 1907, presumably to sort out the dead relatives affairs, but i am trying to find out when and if she came back to this country.
thanks

Hi debbyftm,
To get help with both the relatives that went to Austrailia you could try posting in the Australian Boards, they may be able to check or direct you to passenger records .........give as much info as you know i.e. name, age, where born. If you know the parents names for the person who died, that may also help them locate and confirm a death record.

I'm pretty sure the records for the journey back to England (if it happened) would be found in England. Someone in the Immigrants board may be able to help you with that
