I have to confess to being hopeless with touching up Phots etc.Can anyone do anything with this Photo below;

Hi

If you have the original photo, could you rescan it at a higher resolution and in full colour even if the photo is black and white.

This gives a lot more information and makes an enhancement easier. It could also do with being a lot larger. Don't worry too much about how much space it takes up on screen, as long as the image file is under 300kb it will be okay to post. The bigger the better in fact.

I don't wish to sound a Tech dimwit;Ha Ha,but I don't understand this "Scan at high resolution".All I know is you put the Photo in the Scanner and copy it to your system.Help!!!

 It depends on the type of scanner you have. Some just refer to dpi (dots per inch) and some to size, etc. It comes down to being able to enlarge it on the screen so that one is able to change every pixel (the little squares that you see if you go too big on the screen). The more pixels you have for each small area of picture the better you are able to make slight changes.
