Does anyone recognize this address?

Hi there:  Have an old address book of my mother's.  She has passed away and I am looking to find out who some of these entries are for.  The one for Cheshire is for her aunt and uncle who lived in this house in 1937 .

"Walwood", Carver Road, Hale, Cheshire.

Any information would be much appreciated

Is it the house you are looking for or HALE ?

Hale is near Altrincham, Bowdon,Dunham Massey.  There is Hale Barnes which leads into Hale then Altrincham.  Not far from Manchester Airport.

You could do with appealing for SKS to look up the electoral roll at that address,or for someone with a phone book from way back then.

Maybe the Cheshire record office could help?
Mind you they'd probably charge a fee

Hi Alva,
Carver Rd, Hale are Victorian semis - built behind the new library, near the post office - can't remember the named house but used to play golf with a friend who lived at 4 Carver Rd - have his phone no. if your interested. I lived in Hale all my life until retired and moved 2 years ago!!
