I wish I could find Alfred in 1891 and 1901.  I have done several different search methods in case he's been mistranscribed somewhere.

I will keep looking................. ;)

I have little to go on as far as info. on Alfred Dudley. One small clue maybe , My grand father Francis John Davies married his sister Sarah Anncutt Dudley on December 29th 1885 at Llanyblodwel, the witnesses were his younger brother George Richard Dudley and the bride grooms sister Martha Selina Davies. This maybe the the only clue,they were both teachers  and the brides parents were teachers, which would have created a lot of local interest in the local press. This maybe the line to go on, to see if Alfred was still around. Many thanks for your help,you really have put in a lot of effort.

I just noticed you were interested in the Dudley family...you may be interested to know that Richard Dudley was also headmaster at Alveley school, near Bridgnorth for a very short time.                          16th July 1873 Richard Dudley becomes headmaster at Alveley School.                           
July 31st 1873 Richard Dudley leaves alveley to take up headship at Llanyblodwel near Oswestry'
