Am trying to trace the below in 1841 could someone please give me a hand.

Samuel Isaac abt 1835    Caeo,Cayo,Talley         SON


Thomas Isaac  abt 1817      Talley               FATHER ??

Tiler this is the only Samuel Isaac  I can find they are living in Llandilo Fawr 1841 David Isaac /30/Ag Lab.Margaret Isaac/25.Evan Isaac /8/Samuel Isaac/6.John Isaac 4.Thomas Isacc 5.David Issac/1.And here they are in 1851 at Heol Las Llandilo fawr/David Isaac/Head/46/Lab/Cayo.Margaret Isaac/Wife/39/Cayo.John Issac/Son/14/Cayo.David Isaac/12/Llansawil Carms.Thomas Isaac/Son/9/Llandilo,Carms/Mary Isaac/Dau/5/Llangatten? Carms.Elizabeth Issac/Dau/2/Llandilo.And Samuel is a servant in Llandilo Fawr.Both parents and his brother born in Cayo so it looks a possible.Best Wishes Welsh Lady

I have to look into this the 1841 result seems good the 1851 has thrown me its not the family I have need to do some X checking with the 61/71 up to 01.


Can you have a look for the 

Thomas Isaac  abt 1817      Talley      for me please his wife is

Eleanor abt 1818   Cayo

Tiler heres Thomas in 1841 at Wernddu Conwil Cayo Thomas Isaac /25/Ag Lab.Elinor Isaac/20/Mary Isaac/2.However Thomas Isaac married either Elinor Williams or Eleanor Jones in Qtr March 1839 in Llandovery (Check out free bmd)which covers the area of Conwil Cayo.As Samuel was born in 1835 these dont look like the parents?How have you had the info that Thomas was Samuels father?The family I found in 1841 and 1851 above  are the same family  dont understand what you mean?and they do seem more likely.Have you got Samuels wedding cert?Let me know Best Wishes Welsh Lady

Tiler, I'm new to this forum and have just come across your post. I, also, am looking into the Isaac (my) family. I have Thomas born in 1815, his brother John born in 1810 and a sister Mary. Their father was Samuel Isaac who I belive was born in 1776 in Cwnwyl Cayo, Carthenshire. I obtained this info from the records in Carmarthen. I hope this helps and I hope I'm right.
