Prints and scans
« on: Wednesday 08 March 06 04:30 GMT (UK) »
Just a thought....

I have a reasonable set up for scanning, renovating and printing photographs..if anyone needs help just shout...and as fer cost well I'll do it for the pleasure of making someone smile.

Just as Berlin Bob did for me when he introduced me to Rootschat.

Scans can be made from almost anything up to 3200 dpi and printer is an Epson 2100 (or 2200 in some countries) so up to about 14 inches wide by as long as you want (I use roll paper) is possible.

I am prepared to accept thigs for scanning via post (no copyright stuff please).

Images for printing via e-mail or posts on here (500 k will not go much bigger than A4 tho' (well for me anyways).

My apoligises to overseas memebers but the costs would be bit high..

Kindest reagrds to you all

Harry

Hi Harry,
That's a very generous offer mate. It's this kind of
thing that makes Rootschat so enjoyable.

Is there any way this "thread" can be kept up near the "top" please.

It is a genuine offer and well and kindly meant.

I just tried to see if it was there "the sticky thingy", I thought it used to be in message icon just under subject (on the message screen)
maybe you can ask a moderator to sticky it.

Hi Harry,
I have pinned it to the top of threads so it should stay near the top.

Hi Harry,

Great offer - does that mean you restore them, colour them, scan them, and print them,?
What a man! ;)

Hope we now don't get even more people wanting to have photos restored - knowing you will print them off  ;D ;D

Well done - but do watch that Berlin Bob - he told me last year that I had to learn something new everyday - and look where that got me  :D

Cheers

A great offer Harry,
It's good to see someone willing to spend time helping others, but surely Harry, you should be covering the cost of any printing?
