Alfred Reginald Taylor

I'm looking for help in tracing his life in Canada;Alfred was born in1875  in Stratford,London.He went out to Canada and worked on the Canadian Pacific Railway;I believe that one of his brothers worked in Canada with him-they were George John(1872),Robert J V (1877),Ernest (1879).

All I know about Alfred is that his wife to be Ellen Stenning wouldn't emigrate to Canada and he came back to England and married in 1911

Parents were George John Taylor (b1843) and Sarah Emma Maund(b1847)

Not having much luck yet.  Are you able to narrow down the dates at all, such as what census years do you have them in the UK?

All of the boys were on the 1881 but no mention on 1891 or 1901,it has been suggested by a friend that there was an Alfred R on 1901 Manitoba.

yes, there is an Alfred R. Taylor in Brandon, Man.  born Jan 3, 1875...

immigration down as 1899, and employed as an F Labourer.
