Richard Brown 1851 Please
« on: Thursday 09 March 06 09:44 GMT (UK) »
Hi,

David found Hannah & Richard Brown for me in Renhold in 1841.

I have Hannah's death in 1849, but can only find a death for a Richard for 1852:

Deaths Jun 1852
Brown Richard Bedford 3b 197

If this was my man I can't see him in Renhold in 1851, but I do not have an index and the images I have are pretty poor.

Can SKS see if Richard can be found in the 1851 Census.

His marriage entry shows him as a Renhold man and he would have been in his eighties.

A long shot I know, but if he can be found it will save me looking through all the death record images.

Cheers Rob

Hi Rob

I can't see him in 1851, but there is a Richard Browne buried in Renhold on 8 Sept 1841 age 72, which might explain why he wasn't on the 1851!

Regards

David

Hi David,

A much more likely scenario, thanks for that. Didn't think to look for Browne (Der!)

I'm glad to know that somewhere 740 miles (abt) south of Cardington, can still experience snow hail and rain at this time of the year, trouble is that we can still have those coditions in late May here and frosts into June!

Cheers Rob
