Albert Douglas
« on: Monday 13 March 06 15:11 GMT (UK) »
Hi

I don't know whther it is possible to find anything

Albert Douglas was born in Egham Surrey 1882, educated at Oundle School, and became a chemist for the South African Government
He married Madge, and had one daughter Lorna, who was some sort of  model.

Apparently died about 1972 in S.A.

Any ideas how I might find out anything about him?

I  will try to find a photo of him when he was young for comparison
It was  only recently I realised he had live in S Africa until his death, as my father was referring to a number of visits, but apparently he came to England every (English) summer.

Albert was supposed to have looked into family history, though there is no remaining evidence of this.

However he did take my father and grandfather over to WInkfield to view the grave of an ancestor Rev George Boyce
