Kings Regt. Boer War ?

hello all
 still looking for my g/fathers name   and regt in the Boer war   possibly The Kings Reg  as he was living in Liverpool at the time  does anybody have a name list  he did return home to his 4 children and my g/mother   his name was John Cleator  born Cumberland 1866

Nice photo Doreen!

However,it's most likely a WW1 photo rather than Boer war,hopefully someone will be able to i.d the cap badges :)
