Sorry George I can see your first entry is for 1808  that was probably Thomas and Lucy's John
their children were
John 1808
Ann1811
Jane 1812
Elizabeth 1814
Eliza 1815
Gabriel 1818
Richard 1821
Sarah 1823
John 1826

If you find any bapt I'd be very happy especially if dad is mentioned as Parish Clerk It's a big ask and I am very grateful for any help

Hi Trees,
That simplifies things somewhat - right here we go - first mentions in the PR's of  being Parish Clerk.
Baptisms.
18 Oct 1818 - Gabrial CHARLETT, s Thomas & Lucy, Parish Clerk.
Burial.
11 Jul 1827, Lucy CHARLETT, 44. The worthy school mistress was buried.
Baptisms.
13 Sep 1859 , Mary Ann CHARLETT, d Gabrial & Mary. Parish Clerk.
8 Apr 1877, Frederick James CHARLETT, s James & Sarah. Parish Clerk.
By15 Apr 1885,  Ellen CHARLETT, d James & Sarah - he was back listed as lab.

In the Burials the following were listed as PC.
13 Feb 1855, CHARLETT, Thomas, 77. Late Parish Clerk.
24 Aug 1875, CHARLETT, Gabrial, 57. Late Parish Clerk.

That is definitely better than 5 x A4 sheets  :P.
Will retain my records just on the off chance.
Cheers.
George.

Hi Hazel,
Glad to have been of help - now then as you seem only to have the dates of Thomas & Lucy's children from the census here are their baptismal dates.
9 Oct 1808, John , he was buried 23 Nov 1811: 25 Mar 1810, Anne; 2 Aug 1812 Jane: 26 Jul 1814 Elizabeth: 19 May 1816 Eliza: 18 Oct 1818 Gabrial: 1 Oct 1820 Richard: 10 Aug 1823, Sarah, she was buried 27 Mar 1836 and 3 Jul 1825 John.
Will still file the pages just in case.
Take care and every success in your venture.
Cheers,
George.

Sorry Hazel,
James and Ann did not marry in Yarnton, not a trace in the PR's.
Have just completed DUNSBY's and PREEDY's listings in Pt II of the disc ( 1839 - 1900) so if yourself or Sonia have any queries on those families during that period - sing out.
Cheers.
George.

Many thanks George but most of my DUNSBYs in Yarnton are earlier than 1790 Similarly my PREEDY's would be back from about 1766 but many thanks for the offer and the wonderful information you have supplied hope to get the Parish Clerks up and running by the week end

Hi George,
can I be cheeky and ask if you can find baptisms for children of Thomas and Kezia SAVINS I know they had Henry 1836 in Yarnton I think there must have been others.
Again many thanks in advance

Hi Hazel,
As per your request - children born to Thomas and Keziah SAVINS, baptised :-
10 Sep 1826, Ann,
14 Oct 1827 , Elizabeth,
19 Jul 1829, Jane,
19 Dec 1830, Sarah,
16 Jun 1833, John,
26 Oct 1834, Susannah,
5 Jun 1836, Henry,
6 May 1838, Martha,
12 Jul 1840, Thomas.

To be on the safe side I checked through to Jan 1849 when one Jonh SAVINS was born to one Anne SAVINS, lab and found no further children for Thomas & Keziah.
I then did a snap check on burials and found:-
23 Apr 1832, SAVINS, Sarah, 1 yr 4 mos.
27 Nov 1842,     "  John  9. (8 crossed out and replaced by 9)
3 Aug 1845 ,      " Keziah, 45.
Happy to oblige, trust this is to your satisfaction.
Cheers.
George.
