I am searching for my grandmother (a very long and confusing search so far)...
From what we know NOW, the following are her details of birth:
Name: Phoebe Ward (middle name possibly May)
Year of Birth: 1919 - 1922
Place: Dublin (we hope - its one of the only common themes from her history)
Fathers Name: Albert Victor Ward
Mothers Name: possibly initials of M.A
And thats all!
We believe we have found her first/initial marriage certificate to an English man in 1939 in the West Midlands in England... hence why I know her fathers name (I am hoping its the correct person anyway)
I wont write the long convuluted story of her life so far (she disappeared in 1959), but if you want to hear it, let me know..
I am just wondering if there is enough information to send a request for her birth certificate to the GRO,
OR
whether anyone here can offer any help, or lookups in the indexes for me to find more information...
Also, if you think you know her, I believe she had at least one sibling... I really want to find out about her.
