Sorry don't have any idea of their ages but think they were probably in their early 20's

You might find it easier to look for Martha Jane Meers in earlier census to find out her age

I've had a look at the 1901 census but I cant find them.

Do you know where they were living? The only reason I ask is because the search I did for Lilian (ages from 1m-1year) only threw up 27 possibles, but none where born or living in Wolverhampton. This is the list of places:-

Minera, East Stonehouse, Rhyl, Hollywell, Roath, Lewisham, Radcliffe, Atherton, Oldham, Royton, Paddington, St George, Festiniog, Kingsthorpe, Rainow, Stoke-upon-Trent(x2), Hampstead, Bettisfield, Birkenhead, Bettws Yn Rhos, Plymouth, Pewtynch, Shoreditch, Mile End, Gt Boughton, Eastbourne.
Bradford / Leeds :- Rowntree, Gillings, Clayton, Wood, Hopkinson.
Wolverhampton :- Littleton, Pearson, Evans, Leighton.

Interesting - as far as I know they were in Wolverhampton she may be listed as Lily. I does say she was born in Wolverhampton on her marrage certificate

She might be listed as Lily/Lilian Meers because there was some talk in the family that she was illigitimate

Thanks a lot - hope the speech day was good

Have been checking for Martha Roberts as well - have found a BMD reference for a death in 1901 so this might make the search a bit more difficult but that's my family - difficult!

Ok. This is what I've come up with So far.

NAME                           AGE      BORN                         AD COUNTY                       PARISH

Lily Roberts                  9m       Staffs, W/ton             Staffordshire                     Wolverhampton

Martha Roberts            53        Derby, Derby             Staffordshire                     Wolverhampton

Both of these are on the same page for the 1901 census. No sign of John, although he may be on a different page so would not show up on the search that I did.
Bradford / Leeds :- Rowntree, Gillings, Clayton, Wood, Hopkinson.
Wolverhampton :- Littleton, Pearson, Evans, Leighton.
