Jui

I think you need to be a bit more methodical about this - if you don't mind my saying.  :D

If you can identify who and where your William married, it should be relatively easy to find out which one you want on censuses.

I see that you have posted a request for a different William on another board - you could go on until you have the full set, but you would still not be sure which one is yours, LOL!!

I am happy to help wherever I can, but maybe it is better to invest a small amount to get the truth?

There is only one FULLALOVE in Wales in 1891: a 70 year old widow in Canton, living with an Emma LEYSHON, servant aged 18.

There are 38 William HARRISes (born about 1843) in 1891 - none of those born in Cardiff are living at home with parents - you see the dilemma?

If you can manage to get the cert, I would do that.  Start from what you KNOW is correct and work backwards.

kind regards, Arranroots  ;)

1901.. census look up.. for the pit worker....
« Reply #26 on: Friday 24 March 06 10:16 GMT (UK) »
Hia arranroots..
As i stated.. previously.. william harris was a relation .. of my grandfathers.. i wasent sure how,, there are in fact 5 or 6 generations of william harris all linked to my family.. i wasent sure where to start .. it has been like looking for a needle in a hay stack.. BUT.. i have been given RELIABLE info.. since yesterday..
william harris senior born 1844 crosswell hereford england.. married mary.. they had william junior 1867... Talgarth...
william junior is not on the 1901 census for this family.. so i was thrown again.. this site is for people to help each other with  there genealogy.. look up requests are allowed.. so i asked for help.. yes there are alot of william harris s... i  knew that william junior was not my great grandad.. so again it was necessary to ask for help.. which i did..   a birth certificate for my grandad would have been totally irrelvant in this insatance..
i know that i have the correct william harris (junior).. born talgarth breconshire, wales 1867........
i am now asking if there is anyone who would mind please doing a look up for me  for this gentleman please...
thankyou. for all your help arranroots... hope that you may not mind helping again... thankyou.. kind regards jui
