Hi Mallow

Yes they both arrived, 23 Mar 1857 on the Passenger ship America. Both aged 22 from England and George's occupation is shown as Butcher.

There isn't a great deal of information on these earlier lists. Was there something else you were looking for?

Best wishes

Agnes

Mallow

Unfortunately there aren't any lists available on-line for trips from the US to the UK

Here is a link to a message posted by "Jamie_W75" which gives a link to records, although I personally haven't used the site.

I should have told you in my earlier message that they arrived in New York and departed Liverpool.

I have done a search of the 1860 census, just in case they were still there but nothing at all I'm afraid.

Best wishes

Agnes

Thanks Agnes I had a look at that site you put up, and it is great all that information, that was what I was hoping to find on my lot I dont know why I cannot find B Cert for Child born Syracuse NY, would have thought they were strict especially as she had to travel back. Anyway Agnes I am looking for two passengers now But I have no information on ship only that they left England abt 1899-1900 not  on 1901 census they were travelling to Pensylvania Frederick and George Allsopp born 1883 and  1879 long shot not knowing anymore.
