Mary

I am not sure if this will help but my Cleary family lived at the Culmore Fort, the were Catholics and their records are found at St. Patrick's church, Parish of Iskaheen, Diocese of Derry.  Two of their sons married Daughters of Thomas Mosson and his wife Sarah Doherty of Derry and Glasgow.  Some of their descendents went back to Ireland and the family lived in the Holly Bush area.  Researching Cleary, Mosson various spellings, McGeehan and Martin's.  The Baptism records at St. Patricks look like they are your Stewart family.

  Sincerely,  Tiffany

I would suggest the Derry Genealogy Center.  I had an online report which cost about 100.00 dollars and had most of the information already but they were good.  I had a marriage date for one of my GGG Aunts from an announcement, and it matched the marriage they found for me in Church records.  I think they will look or copy one record also.  They are on the internet.  This is what they found for me.
database of civil marriage registers records the following marriage entry:

Married: 28 October 1879 in Iskaheen Roman Catholic Chapel, County Donegal
John Clery, carpenter of Culmore to
Catherine Moss, seamstress of Londonderry
Father of Groom: John Clery, boatman
Father of Bride: Thomas Moss, shoemaker
Witnesses: Margaret McLaughlin and Ann Doherty

this is what I had

John Cleary
and
Catharine Mosson
were
United in Marriage,
at Iskaheen, Donegal Co., Ireland
October 28th A.D. 1879
Rev. Develin P.P. Officiating

I am sure this was at St. Patricks as that was the family church.
Good Luck

Hi again Mary:
You might be able to get the details from http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~donegal/birthdm.htm

"Iskaheen - St Patrick's Catholic Church, Parish of Iskaheen, Diocese of Derry 1858 - 1901. Surnames A to C, D, E to K, L to P, Mc, Q to end. The Original data was submitted by Jean Goddard, to whom I am very grateful for such a great resource for Muff and Moville Upper. Please email for any further information on individual entries."

Might be worth a try.

Pat

Hello
I noticed you are also searching Hasson and Quigley . My great grandfather William Quigley sister Bridget from Culmore , Ballynagard married James Hasson son of Thomas Hasson and Mary Doherty about 1893 .

All the best
Brian
