Would appreciate any information on Winifred Bowen of Presteigne (born 1884) who married Henry Lister of Presteigne (born 1881) at Presteigne in June 1904 and then went on to produce 7 children between 1906 and 1925 (all in Presteigne) - We are in touch with some of those children who still live in Presteigne today, but their knowledge of their mothers side of the family is very sparse other than her name was Winifred and her fathers name was Thomas.
Henry Listers father was also Henry Lister who was born in Ilkley, Yorkshire in 1836 and went on to marry Harriett Constable (born 1846) of Presteigne at Presteigne in January 1873 - as far as we know, they only had 2 children. Harrietts father was Thomas Constable and her mother was named Mary - other than that, we know nothing about them.
These ancestors are my wifes Great & Great Grt Grandparents.
Would appreciate any help in furthering our research into the Bowen and Constable families of Presteigne, especially as we intend to holiday there later this year and meet all the Lister children that still survive, and we have been promised a big box of photographs.
