It appears the great or great great grandfathers have not received as much attention as the great grandmother thread.

Hopefully, we can give them this second opportunity.
Zelley,  Lovell, Godbold, Woods, Phillips, Lewis, Emery,
Magee, Baker, White. Flisher, Kyne, Tilston, Valence/Vallens,
Mabb/Mabbe, Bellamy, Selley, Martha Smith, Arno (of Dartmouth, Devon}.
Dorset, London, Warwick, East Anglia, Kent,  Devon
North Wales

The ancestors lived here and there, in many scattered
places, with various occupations

Well, here's mine:

John CAWTHORN, bn Christchurch, Cambs - manager of the village Co-Op stores, and enumerator on the 1891!  Also very involved with local Methodist Chapel.

Walter SCOTT - also bn Christchurch - this is my runaway Gt Grandfather; he disappeared in about 1904 leaving his wife and 3 young children.  Legend has it that he went to Canada with the local school mistress!

Louis Henry PALMER - bn Methwold, Norfolk - engineer, millwright and Chief Engineer with the Wisbech Fire Brigade

Charles SCALES - bn Norton End, Baldock, Hertfordshire - occupation Shunster, Great Northern Railway.

Have managed to get back another 2-3 generations with these lines - with a lot of help :)

Alfred James Gibbons, b Gloucester 1867-1939 Glam. Full history and many generations back
