Died at birth - any record
« on: Sunday 10 October 04 06:54 BST (UK) »
My grandmother was a twin and her brother apparently died at birth.  Would there be a record of his death.  Sadly I dont know his name but just wondering what would be possible.   Grandmother was born at Peabody Sq.  Southwark  .London in 1879.

Yes, the death should be recorded.  Try 1837 online or Free BMD, shouldn't be too difficult as you have the DOB of your grandmother and the death should be the same.

You may find that unfortunately he was not named and the entry will just be recorded as Male and his surname.

This was the case for one of my family.
