1841 Glamorgan look up please

I am trying to find the following on 1841.
Hannah James born 1839 in Llangeler Carmarthenshire, and father;
David James occupation cordwainer.
They should be around Aberdare area. I have Hannah's marriage cert, so no further info on her father and I cant find them on census1851/61.
Marriage in 1867 and she states living Trecynon, Aberdare.
Any help with other family much appreciated.

hi Cas, This lot have driven me bonkers!!
The only Hannah's to be found are servants in 1851/61 ,so she could be hidden there, but her father is elusive!
He's definately still alive in 1867 as he is witness on marriage cert.
They dont show on 1841 Carmarthen either, which is why i thought they were already in Glamorgan.
I do think that's her with the Evans 1851, but I really want to go backwards with the family.

Take a look at this...if you think they are a poss, trace to 1851 see if they are in the same area as Hannah 1851.  I think she may have made herself older for work, was young so do not think she would be far from them?

I do this every time with this family....think I'm finally cracking them, then realise it's not them.
Where on earth could they have been?
Will put them away again untill I can really spend a few days (LOL) searching.

I looked high & low, could not find David James shoemaker/cordwainer in right place right age.

Maybe you will have better luck when 1841 comes on
