1841 Fen Drayton lookup please PEGG.

Hi
I'm after an Esther GOLDING.
SHe was born in 1776 Oakington.

Her maiden name was SHEEP or SHIP.
She married John GOLDING in 1802 in Oakington.

He died in 1812 after their children William, John, Ann, Joseph and George were born in Fen Drayton.

An Esther GOLDING died in 1853 Fen Drayton so am guessing she didn't remarry but can't seem to find her in 1841 or 1851.
 ???
ANyone with any ideas out there?
I know you people out there are pretty cool at tracking people down!

Esther PEGG, age 80 Head / Widow born Oakington Cambs
 ; Pauper, late Shepherd's wife

There is a death index of Esther Pegg in Jul/Sept 1853 at St Ives vol 3b page 142.

Is this just coincidental ?   John

Hi there John,

Thanks a lot for that cetainly could be a possibility I suppose. I would have never found that.
Guess should try and see who she's with in 1841 and maybe might try looking for a marriage.
Seems odd doesn't it.
Seeing the Esther that died right time and age I just assumed it would be her which I suppose I shouldn't do eh! oh well makes it interesting doesn't it!

How do you know Esther GOLDING died  in 1853 Fen Drayton

I just checked the BMD Indexes (available free at Ancestry.co.uk) for all qtrs of 1853 plus a few either side, & there is an Esther Harriet Golding in Apr/June 1853 but at Melton ? vol 2a page 375 - I would have expected St Ives district for Fen Drayton

Hi Esther sheep married John Golding then remarried John Pegg @ fen dray ton camb uk your right :) they had 5 kids I only no 1 as William Golding & he married Sarah coulson I have my family tree book if u want any info contact me :)
