Hello Listers

In Bedfordshire we had 'BODGERs';'HALFPENNYs'; 'RABBITs';  and 'VIRGINs'...not a lot of them left!

My mother was a 'WORKER' and as a child I grew up thinking it was a description - as in 'your're not really a WORKER, are you?'

Are any descriptive names still about?  Even someone called 'REDHEAD' - would he have a redhead?  And what about 'HALFHEAD'...the mind boggles   ;D
