George Allan

Hi Guys

I am loking for a relative of mine who possibly stayed in Canada after doing his National Service with the RAF in the early 50s.
He was George Aitken Allan born 14th June 1926 at Towie, Clatt to William Allan and Helen ms Taylor.  His mother died in 1927  and his father re-married in 1933 to a Mary Middleton and went on to have two further children, Mary & Norma.
His father died in 1951 but I know that he did not attend the funeral but possibly went AWOL as he visited his aunt in Barre Vermont around this time,
it is thought that he stayed in Canada.

As far as I know George never came back to Scotland and has not kept up contact with his sisters.

George would be 80 now if he was still living, his two sisters are still on the go and would like to make contact with him or find out what happened to him.

If anyone can shed any light on this please do,

Best Regards,

Swally

Hi Swally,

If you check www.canada411.ca there is a George A. Allan living in Kingston, Ontario?  There seem to be only 43 mentioned in Canada.

Karen,

Thanks for the reply.

I have narrowed it down to 9 possibles if you take out those with a middle intial other than "A" and include all the others.
I'll do a mail merge and send them all a letter it will be the easiest way I hope.
He will be 80 years old by know if he is still living.........
It is worth a try, thanks for the help.
