There's a marriage for Herbert on the LDS IGI abt 1877 - just says Ellen b. Gloucester 

Edit - and a possible birth for Herbert abt 1848, Father Frederick St George.

Well in 1891 looks like they've dropped the 'St' and are just plain George!

This might be Herbert the son on the Militia Attestations Index 1886-1910

Herbert ST GEORGE  birthplace Lambeth, Surrey, West Surrey Regiment (TNA ref WO96/28).  He is not on the CWGC database so must have survived the war(s).

have found Alfred in 1901 in the Royal Horse Artillery.
