CENSUS for Isleworth /Walton.
« on: Friday 15 October 04 11:59 BST (UK) »
Hi.
Still looking for any info on Joseph Weedon who married Ann Alderman in Dec. 1827. In the parish records for All Saints, Isleworth both are shown as 'of this parish'. However I cannot trace the birth of Joseph. Nearly all of their children were born in Walton on Thames . I was hoping that Josephs birth place would show up on a census 41/51/61. for either Isleworth or Walton.

You may want to consider buying the 1851 censusindex  for Isleworth on Fiche. It's fairly inexpensive.

See http://www.west-middlesex-fhs.org.uk/wmfhspub.html.

Hi.
I have considered this but if one hasn't the 'machinery' to view fiche, what does one do?
Please excuse my ignorance.

I go down to the public library (reference section) or occasionally to the local LDS centre,
with the fiche in my hand.

I have checked the 1851 Census index for Isleworth & Twickenham (Published by WMFHS) and have found the following.  I don't have the non-metropolitan 1851 Middlesex census I'm afraid.

1851 Surname Index - Isleworth & Twickenham HO107/1698

WEADEN
Folio 122b

WEEDEN
Folios; 281, 286b, 353
