Rhys is excellent, all info I have had from him has been correct, so I am sure the cert will prove right.  It will just state fathers name and occ. on marriage cert, though no mothers details, but will be enough proof if it matches, combined with what you know about his wifes details.

Hi Woosh,

sorry it seems i'm a bit late to the party. I am also looking for information on Humphrey Jones who i believe is the father of my great great grandfather Richard John Jones who was married to Mary Ann Appleton both of Wallaroo. I have never been able to verify who Richard's father was. Am curious to know after all these years did you get any information that could shed light on this?
