Sorry to butt in on this thread, but the name Voigt caught my eye.
On of my wife's ancestors was Frederika Voigt, or Vogt. She was born about 1820, possibly in what was east Prussia, in the Silesia region. I have had no luck in finding any information about her or her husband, Friedrich Lindner. They came out to South Australia in 1851.
I am Australian, from all the lands I come (my ancestors, at least!)

Pine/Pyne, Dowdeswell, Kempster, Sando/Sandoe/Sandow, Nancarrow, Hounslow, Youatt, Richardson, Jarmyn, Oxlade, Coad, Kelsey, Crampton, Lindner, Pittaway, and too many others to name.
Devon, Dorset, Gloucs, Cornwall, Warwickshire, Bucks, Oxfordshire, Wilts, Germany, Sweden, and of course London, to name a few.
