National Archives-Albert Joseph Brazington
« on: Sunday 30 April 06 01:19 BST (UK) »
 :D Hello.
I was wondering if anyone taking a trip to the National Archives in London would possibly search the Silver War Badge List for the Great War 1914-1918, for my great uncle Albert Joseph Brazington. I have his medal card which indicates that he received this award after being released from the army due to ill health. He was a private in the Worcestershire Regiment and his number was 48392.  The number alongside the entry looks like L/14/1993 but I can,t be sure.
Albert was born in Gloucestershire but served in this particular Regiment.
Any information gratefully received.
Cheers.
