Hello again!

I've just been sent the bare bones from the 1841 census for Snowhill Macclesfield apparently my HEAPY lot are living with friends or relatives.

                               Ann Sherratt              55
                               Nathan H??ffin           15
                               William H??ffin            ?
                               Thomas Heapy           10
                               James Heapy               8
                               Hannah Heapy             6
                               George Heapy             5
                               Charlotte Heapy          3

Can you please confirm this and possibly post  the image here if at all poss

I've been contacted by a John Heapy who appears to have cracked the HEAPY case!!! But until I get my g-g-grandad,George's birth cert c 1835
I won't be convinced.Have asked Chester RO for a look up.

Thanks to anyone who can help me.

Carol
However it does look like Staffs pictures strongly in the early stages.

Hi Carol
Someone must have eyes like an hawk to have spotted the Heapy family on that page,or they have a better copy than I. I cannot add much to what you already have except that the first two names appear to have been born outside of the county
I would love to know the results when you have cracked it.

regards

Hello Peter

All I can say is OH MY GOD !!!  :D
How anyone can decipher anything on this page is a mystery to me.

Thanks any way.

Maybe I'll just wait till the birth cert arrives !

A Heapy lady,married to one!!!
Not sure where she got it from I'll email and ask.
But they are on hols in sunny Lanzarote at the mo' I think.
We are working fast towards tying all these Staffs and Cheshire families together now. There's a chap in California now involved- the more the merrier.
