It's a wonderful picture!  What format do you have it in:  a photo or a postcard?

If it's a postcard, was it mailed?  (It seems to have been signed by the recipient's nephew.)  If yes, can you tell when?

Hi Josephine, do you see the shop on the left hand side,(where the man is going in) well that is a pet shop now and the lady who keeps it ,was given the photo,by an elderly gentleman,and when I saw it, I asked her to do a copy,for me.it looks late 1800s,there is some of it still up, I live two streets away,I don't know who J Reynolds is,or if it started life as a postcard.regards Geraldine.

Hi Will,you're welcome,I have to give the credit to Josephine.Birch street is a the bottom on the left,I did read that your Durber family live there,I looked for 156 Keeling road,but the houses stop at 131,in their place is a petrol station,and a couple of new houses,Ah well!regards .Geraldine.
