Hi
I have the Surname Index for Bradford and have located several entries for the surname SCANLON (also SCANLAN)
these are as follows:

Bradford East End: Piece No  E.D  Folio
                               3316        5      101

Bowling,Cleckheaton, Drighlington:
                               3313        5       93

Bradford West End: 3325       21     46

Horton:                    3327      1        24

From this information I was hoping that someone could look up the Scanlon/Scanlan family for me.

I would expect Robert to be Head and Catherine Wife

In 1856 when my g gmother was born they were living at 58 Sun Street.  I'm not sure which district this is in.

for such a comprehensive response to my request, I don't think I've found my Mary just yet or her parents, but I will file all the stuff and maybe as I dig a bit deeper they might link in somewhere.

ps I love the witch's garb, reminds me of the green haired witch who used to be on one of the kid's programmes, but I can't remember her name...
