hope you can help in the 1901 census my great grandfather Samuel Sankey born 1870 Wolverhampton was listed as serving on the front line i can only think this may be the Boer war.  I do not know any further information at all. sorry for the very limited information i can give

Thanks for the help but unfortunately this is not the Samuel i am looking for.  I cannot find Samuel in the 1891 census and the 1901 states he had gone to the front.  Any other suggestions or ideas on how i can find out which regiment he was in
